Day Camps

The Virginia Soccer Centers of Excellence offers two day camps: the Spring Break Camp for Girls and Boys in grades 1 through 6, and the Advanced Winter Session for highschool players.

The Spring Break Youth Center is for both girls and boys grades 1st - 6th. It is specifically geared toward the young developing player and also for a player who might be just taking up the sport. During the week we will focus our curriculum on improving fundamental skills through individual exercises and small sided games.

The Advanced Winter Camp is designed specifically for High School players that want to pursue playing at the collegiate level. This one day camp will provide players with an overall experience exposing them to the technical, tactical and physical abilities necessary to be successful at the next level. Directed by the University of Virginia Women's Soccer Coaching Staff, this session will incorporate many of the exercises and skills that are used with the Virginia Women's Team. Players interested in playing top level Division I soccer will get a student-athlete experience of what it takes to compete at the collegiate level.

Location

The Spring Break Youth Center will be held at The University of Virginia Turf Field located on the south east side of Univesity Hall. Registration for the camp will be held right next to the turf field. Click here to get in depth directions to the Turf.

Spring BreakAt the Spring Break Center our emphasis will be on having FUN and providing as much individual attention as possible! We will teach according to skill and age level so that regardless of ability, each camper will experience a sense of challenge and achievement during the week. Our Virginia Soccer staff will be working directly with all the campers and as always will take a personal interest in developing each player.

Spring BreakIt is our goal that at the end of the Spring Break Center, each player will become more comfortable with the ball at their feet, will enjoy and understand the game more, and will have made some new friends within the Virginia Soccer program and the community.
