The Advanced Soccer Center for Girls at the is geared toward the serious soccer player who has her eye on playing college soccer. By working with top quality coaches, many of whom represent the different levels of college soccer and by training directly with our players from the University of Virginia, campers will get a realistic impression of what it takes to compete at the collegiate level. The focus of the camp is on improving individual technique and skills, with an even greater emphasis on understanding the game and the player's role within a team. The Advanced Center of Excellence is a great learning resource for club and high school players. In addition to the Virginia coaching staff, the camp will feature coaches from various universities, former professional players and college standouts. Members of the VIRGINIA WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM will be present at all sessions and will interact closely with the campers throughout the week. For more serious emergencies the UVA Medical Center or Alexandria Hospital will be used. Trainers also reside in the dorms. All campers must have proof of personal medical insurance.
